In compliance with current regulations, and specifically Circular N°660 of the Superintendence of Securities and Insurance, I inform you that at an ordinary Board of Directors’ meeting held July 24^th of the current year, the Board of Lan Airlines S.A. authorized the distribution of an interim dividend of US$0.15071 per share out of profits for the 2006 fiscal year, which will be paid beginning on August 24, 2006 to all shareholders that were registered shareholders on the fifth business day before the aforementioned date.
